*How far is Golfview Resort from Dollywood?

We're less than one mile (0.8 to be exact) from Dollywood's ticket gate via the Trolley. Yes, it's a special gate just for Trolley riders! Save Dollywood's $10 fee to park your car by catching a Dollywood-bound Trolley at the entrance to Golfview Resort.

Buy your tickets at our front desk, catch the Trolley that runs every 20-25 minutes, and be INSIDE the Park usually in less than 30 minutes!

Once on the Trolley, it's only a 3 minute ride to Dollywood's special ticket gate. Google Maps says you can WALK from Golfview Resort to the special gate in only 11 minutes ~ but that sounds hot and sweaty, so I'll take the Trolley, thank you! :)

*How far is Golfview Resort from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge?

Coming down our driveway, turn left at the bottom of our entrance and go about half a mile. There you are! On the Parkway!

*How far away is Golfview Resort from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park?

If you use the Registration Building's address, 718 Golfview Boulevard, as a starting point, the Sugarlands Visitor Center is a mere 9.9 miles through The Spur and downtown Gatlinburg. It's only 10.4 miles to the Sugarlands if you take the Gatlinburg Bypass off The Spur if you'd like to use that as an alternate route ~ either coming or going.

*How far away is Golfview Resort from LeConte Center?

This giant-sized (230,000 sq.ft.) convention hall is only 2 miles from Golfview Resort! And that's an easy drive down Teaster Lane (don't tangle with the Parkway traffic).

There's so many good answers to that question; the BEST answer is because Golfview Resort is located close to EVERYTHING ~ and via back roads to boot! It's like being on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge without the noise or congestion.

Frequently Asked Questions about Golfview Vacation Rentals

*What is Golfview Vacation Rentals' deposit and cancellation policy?

If you book online, your dates are blocked for you IMMEDIATELY and we only tokenize your card data so we can charge 25% of your total to your token that day or the next day from the office (Hacksters: You will be disappointed). We will charge your token the balance 14 days prior to your check in date. If your arrival date is within 2 weeks of your booking date, we will charge your token the total for your reservation.

Give us a call if you'd like to use a different card for the balance, and multiple payments from multiple people are welcomed.

If you cancel while we're only holding your deposit, we only charge you $50 plus tax and return the balance to you. If you cancel within 14 days of your arrival date, we move your money into a Gift Certificate (as a credit to you) and give you 6 months to re-book a reservation in any unit ~ using your credit towards the balance and you forfeit any overage.

*Is it hard to book online?

We treat your card data as we would want our own to be treated by tokenizing your card data and only store the token. if you find our website difficult to navigate or if it's hard to figure out how to get a quote, we want you to call someone who can do something about it right away at (888) 522-6332.

When you do put your Arrival and Departure dates in what we call the Quick Search (on every page near the top) and click 'Search', the online booking system will do the math for all of us by automagically applying the best special to give you the best discount!

There is a known issue with using the Safari and FireFox browsers with our credit card data tokenization system, so please call (888) 522-6332 anytime if you are using Safari or FireFox and experience an issue. We WILL see that you tried and we'll call you if you make it to the Payment Info page but you get a blank page when you Submit. This paragraph will be removed immediately upon our resolution of this issue, and please know that we're working hard to remove it as soon as possible.

*What will be in my unit when I arrive?

Your unit should be stocked with the following guest amenities: Kitchens should have 2 rolls of paper towels, kitchen towel, dish towel, 2 pot holders, dish washing soap, and dishwasher detergent. Your kitchen is stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, plates, bowls, drink ware, and silverware to accommodate the number of persons your unit sleeps. General kitchen stock is provided by the owner and will vary from unit to unit.

Each full bathroom should be stocked with 2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 hand towels, 2 bath towels per person (according to how many people your unit sleeps), 6 wash cloths, 2 bath mats, soaps, shampoo, body wash, lotion, mending kit, shower cap, and makeup removal wipes. Please use the makeup removal wipes as makeup is very hard to remove from a towel in the laundry and generally ruins the towel. Half baths should be stocked with 2 rolls of toilet paper, hand soap, and 2 hand towels. Jacuzzi tubs should be stocked with 2 towels, 2 wash cloths, and bath soap.

If your unit has a sofa sleeper there should be a set of sheets for it packaged and waiting for you on the couch.

*What if I have a housekeeping or maintenance issue during my stay as your guest?

No worries... We're blessed to have personnel onsite who take your safety and comfort very seriously. Our fast and courteous response to your inconvenience is only dependent on your phone call to us to make it all right. When you check in (or pick up your late arrival packet), you'll be given a yellow card with the phone number to call anytime you need assistance during your stay :)

*How can I buy attraction tickets, including Dollywood and Splash Country?

Purchase Dollywood and Splash Country tickets at the Front Desk. You'll need your credit card because Dollywood has partnered us with www.ConnectDestination.com and the tickets are printed out for you to present the bar code to the Dollywood and/or Splash Country ticket gates.

We have vouchers at the Front Desk for discounted Dixie Stampede tickets, and other coupons and actual tickets on hand. Click here for a list of attraction tickets we offer for your convenience.

The GVR Front Desk opens at 9 am and closes at 6 pm, 7 days a week, 363 days a year.

*What if I arrive after the Front Desk is closed?

Sometimes we're there later than 6 pm, and if the Front Desk IS closed at the time of your arrival, you'll find a packet with your name on it in a special box at the front door. You'll find a yellow card in your packet with a phone number to call immediately upon encountering any problems with finding your unit, or entering your unit, or any housekeeping or maintenance issues.

You can also call the Front Desk between 9am and 6pm by pressing '0' on the phone in your unit. We're waiting to hear from you because we LOVE being of assistance!
